תַּרְעֵלָה

תַּרְעֵלָהI f. (b. h.; v. רְעַל) reeling, staggering. Esth. R. to I, 14 (play on שתר ib., v. שָׁתָה) משקה … כוס של ת׳ I will make them drink the cup of staggering. Gen. R. s. 16 עתיד … כוס תַּרְעֵילָהוכ׳ in the future the Lord will make the nations (that oppress Israel) drink the cup of staggering out of the place whence judgment goes forth (Eden).
